GH, or general hardness, corresponds to the amount of calcium and magnesium dissolved in the water. These minerals are beneficial to fish, plants, and the overall balance of the pond. A low GH is often found in ponds filled with rainwater or soft tap water.
- GH+ Minerals: 1, 2, 5, and 15 kg buckets depending on the volume to be treated.
- Sera GH Test: drop test to measure total hardness.
Measure the GH before adding minerals, then adjust in small steps, re-testing between additions. Also check the KH, which stabilizes the pH and is corrected with a separate product. After a significant water change, perform another measurement.
