Diaphragms are the wear parts of diaphragm air pumps. Over time, the rubber hardens or cracks, and the pump produces less air, becomes noisier, or stops working. Replacing the diaphragms restores the pump to working order without having to replace the unit.
To make your choice, note the exact make and model from the pump's nameplate. The collection covers Hiblow (HP-20 to HP-200), Secoh (EL diaphragm and valve kits), AquaForte (Flow V and AP35/45), Oase AquaOxy, Superfish Airflow, and JBL PS. Reduced air flow may also be caused by a clogged diffuser or a kinked hose: check these before replacing the parts. For pumps that run continuously, it is worth checking the diaphragms every year.
